A note on grades....when we get back from Thanksgiving break, we'll have 3 weeks left of Quarter 2! This also marks the end of Semester 1 and your transcript will be updated with your semester grade. A failing grade can impact your ability to graduate, and result in extra work after school and over the summer to catch up. Remember, colleges, universities, the military, and even some employers will ask to see your transcript. What do you want your transcript to say about you???
If you are behind, NOW is the time to get caught up. If you are struggling to stay engaged, focused, and on task, NOW is the time to double your efforts and work hard to meet your goals. Don't be afraid to talk to your teachers about what you can do to make sure you are passing! If you aren't sure of where you stand, make a virtual or in person appointment with your counselor. You can do this and we can help!
Have a GREAT Thanksgiving holiday!
