November in Review
Mrs. Young's Class
This month was full of activities leading up to Thanksgiving. We learned about pilgrims and indians, turkeys, and the First Thanksgiving.
Even though we were a few kids short for our Thanksgiving Feast, we had a great time. They tasted several items that they weren't quite fond of and ate a few others they loved.
We have been working hard on sight words. I am having them become familiar with words that center around our theme as well as others that are the most frequent. If I send a list home with your child, please work on them throughout the week.
To preview, our December words will be: she, can, your, write, Christmas, December, this, that, will. I will probably be adding a few during the month, but these are ones to focus on for now.
I will be sending you information soon about our Christmas party. Look for an email.
