Eastlake High School 12.2.19
Greetings from Eastlake High School
Welcome back from the break. I hope you and your students had quality time with family and friends. As we come to the final three weeks of the first semester, let's keep focus on finishing strong. Here are some big picture items for your consideration:
A. Coffee with the Principal. I hope to see you this Wednesday for the final Coffee with the Principal of the first semester. We will focus on some big goals for the upcoming semester including safety, master schedule and parent involvement. We will let you know the final meeting place on Tuesday.
B. Safe School Ambassadors. We are bringing a new program to our school called Safe School Ambassadors. Selected students will participate in a two-day training on being "upstanders" who will help make EHS a more inviting and inclusive place for all students.
C. Construction. Just a friendly reminder that construction is well under way. Please be mindful as you plan your morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times.
D. Friday End Time. We are exploring the option of ending school earlier on Fridays to allow for teachers to have more professional development collaboration time and possibly start extra-curricular activities early. We will share some of the options in the near future. Your input is important.
Thank you for your support of all things Eastlake High School. I hope to meet you soon. If you have a moment, take the time to recognize our staff below! As always, Go Titans!
