About the Infection
E. Coli are bacteria found in the environment, human and animal intestines, and foods. Most strains of this food borne illness are harmless. E. Coli are bacterium that live inside your digestive tract. You can get an E. Coli infection by coming in contact with feces of human or animals. Symptoms of an infection are severe stomach cramps, stomach tenderness, nausea, and vomiting. Ways to treat an E. Coli infection are to drink lots of water and get a lot of rest. The young, old, and those who have weakened immune systems are the most likely to get this infection. You can prevent it by avoiding cross contamination and WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!!
