Fifth Grade News

The Long Haul Before the Holidays
We hope everyone had a rejuvenating break with safe travels and good times among family and friends. The Fifth Grade remained strong, calm, and steady, as we finished the first of three full weeks of school before the winter break.
A special shout out goes to Mr. Chancler's class for earning the most points on Accelerated Reader for the month of November. Also, we would like to congratulate Jeannettie Perry, Cady McDowell, and Mulan Zeng for representing the Fifth Grade in Thursday night's Spelling Bee.
Students were happy to finally get outdoors, having exhausted their repertoire of board games, cards, and computer games during indoor recess the first part of the week. We'll welcome the warmish weather gladly before the winter months settle in.
