Getting Back on Track!
Thank you for working so hard this week to keep yourself and your classmate safe and healthy. We will continue to work together to keep everyone at school or get them back to school as soon as they can. Wearing masks, keeping our distance and washing hands is the best way we can stay in person and keep ourselves healthy. Thanks for doing your part.
If you have missed school days and need to know how to get back on track please check out this power point our support team created to help guide you through the process. We know it is hard to get back at it once you have been away but know that our teachers are here to help. Reach out if you have specific questions not answered in this slide deck.
Many teachers are making adjustments to our end of semester activities and tasks to help limit the stress for students who have missed class, so please reach out to your teachers and keep them informed of your needs as we get closer to the end of the semester.
Be Safe Pacers!!

Attendance Procedures
We would like to remind you of the attendance procedures at LHS:
1. Need to report a late arrival or absence? Call or email: 503-534-2322 or email lhsattendance @loswego.k12.or.us 2. Need to get your student released for an appointment? Call 503-534-2319 or 503-534-2322 to request a student be released from class. When calling to release your student for an appointment or due to illness we request 20-30 minutes notice to process the release, unless the release is due to illness which we process as soon as we are able to. 3. Your student texted you saying they are ill and want to go home? Call the office at 503-534-2319 and ask to have your child released from class. We will process requests for release due to illness as soon as we are able to, but it may take 20-30 minutes. Tell your child to let their teacher and the office know they are ill and they need to check out on the attendance computers. In all cases: Please remind your student that anytime they come in late to school or need to leave school for any reason they need to go through the attendance office. This requires checking in on the attendance computers when they arrive late (for any reason and even if their family has called in to excuse them) and requires students to always check out and get a pass from the attendance secretary when leaving school for any reason. Once you contact us about the early release there is no need to come inside the school to check out your student, they can meet you outside/at the car. Thank you for your help in streamlining the attendance procedures at Lakeridge.
