Going Online in a Hurry -How do we start??
We have been dabbling in personalized learning this year and you have built some very successful skills. Now, all your efforts should pay off as children will need to be on their own for the most part during the next two weeks. Dust off Weston's book, talk to your peers, come up with a FABULOUS plan. Heather and I will meet with you Monday and Tuesday to get our plan together for roll-out on Wednesday! It is an exciting time to do some intense implementation. Don't keep your arms and legs in the car -- think out of the box and go for it!

Teaching during times of potential disruption requires creative and flexible thinking about how instructors can support students in achieving essential core course learning objectives. Geared for post-secondary, but great Canvas tips.
How will you communicate with students?
Do you know which students have electronic communication ability and which do not? How will you communicate with each group? How will they communicate with you? This needs to be in a written form and given to Diane by Tuesday at noon.
How will you communicate with parents?
Bloomz, ClassDojo, SMORE, email? Find a way to connect with parents so they can support your efforts at home and ask questions and clarify. There are so many ways to communicate. You have already go a plan, so now be faithful in implementing it.
Set up Automatic Reply on your Email
This photo tells you where to set this up in your email. As kids or parents send you an email, the system will tell them that you have received it. Put on a kind and friendly reply that lets kids know you are there and will get back to them ASAP!
