Care Closet
It’s that time, 4 months have past, those new or gently used clothes you got for your student at the beginning of the school year are no longer new or gently used. Your child has crazily grown 3 inches and clothes are not fitting anymore. And let’s be real, everything is expensive right now! We are lucky to partner with Northern Kentucky’s Care Closet. They have a Closet on site in each of our schools. Kids get to “shop” for free, picking out items that they like. If you would like your child to “shop” one day for clothes please contact us and we’ll set up a good time during the school day that will not disrupt their learning. All items are free and students leave with a bag of clothes feeling special and excited to show off what they got.

We will be using these funds for future PBIS Rewards Day, Cats Store, Field Trips, attendance incentives, testing incentives and more!
But we need your help! If you register your current Kroger card with NIS then every time you scan it for your points and discounts, we will automatically get rewarded too!
Here's how:
-Visit http://www.kroger.com
-Once logged into their Kroger account they can search for Newport Intermediate School either by name or VY034
-Click Enroll.
-New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.
Help us out and register today before your next trip to Kroger!
Box Tops
Parents and Staff, we need your help! Did you know that you can support our school as easily as scanning your receipt each week after your trip to the grocery! We have so many initiatives to support our students, and we would love to have your help with these! Please take some time to download the app and scan your receipt each week to help us earn money for our school!
