Chapel
Shay from C Bar C LLC in Blairstown, MO was our speaker at chapel today. She began by telling us she was a public school teacher for 18 years. She had a therapy dog that she took to school every day with her. Several years ago, God told her to get a lot of animals to help kids. She now has a lot of horses and is on a mission for the Lord to tell others about Him through her animals.
Cupcake, her miniature horse was with her today. Shay told us that when we chose to serve God, Satan picks us out of the crowd and comes at us. It is hard to serve God. Life is hard, but you can't quit. Shay expressed that she loves Jesus more than animals and kids. She also loves it when she can talk about horses and Jesus all in the same place, like today at chapel. Shay shared Matthew 18:20, For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. She said that she has several people that help her on the ranch, and if you visit C Bar C you will hear about faith and family.
Shay asked us to think about a battle that we are facing in our lives right now. She told us we are equipped with the battle of armor, Ephesians 6:14-18. Before going into battle, always pray about the issue, read your Bible, and wait for God's direction. Shay brought a saddle and showed us how it is used. She armors up when she rides, just like we need to armor up for battle.
Lastly Shay said, "when we fight the battle and win it, we have the strength and courage to serve and tell others about the Lord." Find joy in the work. Plan for service. Look to Jesus to guide your service for Him.
