It's time to CELEBRATE!

We begin our celebration of the Class of 2021...
This school year started in three different classrooms, including the gym, at 6 foot distance and in masks. Students giggled as teachers moved from classroom to classroom forgetting where they were supposed to be or leaving materials behind. They remembered being new 6th graders feeling this same way. As the school year progress, we had our challenges; but the class remained together. Distance began to ease and the classes are now back in traditional classrooms. While there will be slight adjustments, we are truly looking forward to celebrating this class in our tradition ways!
8th Grade just finished reading S.E. Hinton's classic novel, The outsiders
To all of our parents, we were truly spoiled last week for Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you!
A special shout out to Marie Holmes, our PTO committee, and our 8th grade room parents for making Teacher Appreciation Week so special in this virtual world. We loved our gift card, our videos, personal notes, sweet treats, delicious lunch, and more!
When your birthday falls within Teacher appreciation week, 8th grade students celebrate their teacher, Mr. Mertzman!

PTO News!
Normally at our end of the year PTO General Meeting, we are able to share the good news about all that was accomplished during the school year. The Executive Board is working on its year end report, which you'll see in the next week or two.
In the meantime, we are seeking officers for the 2021-22 school year! If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact PTO@stviator.org. We need YOU!
Oh Mary! We Crown Thee with Blossoms Today!

Happy Mother's Day!
The month of May is traditionally devoted to Mary -- and she holds a special place for Viatorians, especially on Mother's Day.
We celebrated May Crowning last Wednesday with a beautiful Mass for grades 5 - 8. If you missed it, here is the link: https://youtu.be/exemlovXM1o
