Destin, Florida is located in the United States. You can get to Destin by either car, plain, or bus .The transportation used in Destin is bus, car, train, and boat. Equipment you should bring to Destin goggles, swimsuits, towels, and sunscreen. You should bring summer clothes.

Weather & Environment

The weather in Destin is mostly warm. Summer is hot, Spring is warm, Fall is cool, and Winter is cold. July is the warmest month, and the highest recorded temperature was 107°F in 1980. The lowest recorded temperature was 4 in 1985.

Some plants and animals you will see while you are in Destin are sea turtles, dolphins, and palm kelp.


Predator and prey relationships in this biome are sharks (predators) eating fish (prey), and a killer whale (predator) eats a seal (prey). Humans impact the ecosystem by polluting the waters, and causing oils spills. Symbiotic Relationships are Clown fish and Anemones, and Green Turtles and Cleaning Fish. One of many limiting factors in the ocean is the living space.
