March Mammal Madness (MMM) is in full swing in Room 253! As we discuss the outcomes of these “battles” we are able to analyze the adaptations the winning organisms possess that helped them conquer their foes. This activity has also allowed students to see how the environment can have a major impact on the survival of a certain organism.
Interspersed in our MMM updates, we will continue to explore the concept of genetics and start using Punnett Squares to predict the traits of future generations.
