Music teacher, Mrs. Cunningham supported the unit by incorporating a musical that supported their learning about natural resources. Each of the animals in the program gave the tree a gift. These gifts were connected to the PYP Attitudes such being compassionate and caring to the environment. This unit was valuable information for the 1st graders because they learned that your family is what makes you who you are and our environments make look different around the world, but we have a responsibility to take care of them!
