What we know now...
....we wish we knew then!
Hello!
So, I asked all the previous staff members who had been to Peru the above question, and wanted to share all of their replies with you
Packets of Issues for Loo Roll
Stomach problems have been reported in the past and you wouldn't want to be caught short
Teabags
According to Ms Madison you'll miss it more than you realize.
A toothbrush in your hand luggage
The possibility of two whole days without brushing your teeth doesn't bare thinking about!
Clothes your willing to leave!
What would you rather have in your bag at the end of the holiday, lots of souvenirs and gifts, or some very sweaty, dirty t-shirts!
Learn Spanish
Even basic words will help buildup rapport with the kids out there.
Silican gel sachets (for cameras)
Good for in your camera case as they absorb moisture! Especially useful when we are in the Jungle!
Hope these have helped!
I will add another six or so as I receive them from teachers and previous students!
