Digital Citizenship Week Using The World & I Kids
Digital Citizenship Week is an ideal time to teach students how to navigate safely, responsibly, and respectfully on the online world. Using, The World & I Kids, 6th Grade students at Liberty had to answer a series of questions on how to deal with a variety of online scenarios. Here are a few sample questions:
What if someone asked you for your address online?
What if someone was using your pictures online?
What if strangers were talking to you in chatrooms?
After answering the questions, students were more in tune with positive online habits, keeping safe, and other digital citizenship skills.
