Dear fans of the Trojan Marching Band,
We are excited to invite you to the 26th Annual Tennessee Valley Invitational Marching Competition at James F. Moore Stadium. For over 25 years, the Muscle Shoals Band Boosters have tried to provide the most hospitable and well-run marching band contest in North Alabama. This year should be no different.
We hope you decide to join us at the 26th annual TVIMC on Saturday, October 20, 2018!

Lady Trojans Volleyball Win County Tournament!
Over the weekend, the Muscle Shoals Lady Trojan volleyball team won the county tournament held at Colbert Heights High School. Head Coach Maggie Finley reflected on the game by saying, "Those two games with Deshler at the end were straight brawls, but we got the last lick!"
Coming up: The Lady Trojans will host the Area Volleyball Tournament on Monday, October 22 at the MSHS Gym. Athens and Columbia will play in the 1st round. The winner will face the Lady Trojans. The area champion and runner-up will advance to sub-regionals in Huntsville on Thursday, October 25. Game time on the 25th will depend on our placement in the Area Tournament. Area winner will play at 3:30 on Thursday, Oct. 25 and area runner-up will play at 2:00 on Thursday, Oct. 25. Students will be permitted to check-out and attend the games in Huntsville. More information from the principal will be sent out after the Area Tournament on Oct. 22.
Cross Country Update
At the Warrior Invitational, the JV Girls First place; JV Boys and Varsity Boys, both 2nd place in their divisions. Coming up: Northwest Alabama/Colbert County Championship (October 25) and Sectional Championship Meets (Nov. 1). Go Trojans!
Trojan Swimmers
From Coach Newton: "Swimmers who have made the Sectional Times include Abby Newton 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, and 500 free and Abby Grace Summers 50 free. 100 free, and 100 breast."

Seniors, do you need help completing the FAFSA? On Tuesday, Oct. 16, 3-7 p.m., there will FAFSA help session at Northwest Community College Building 127, Room 111.
Standardized Testing Coming Soon!
Seniors will take the ACT Workkeys assessment on November 7.

NOTE: Registration for the Oct. ACT has passed. The deadline to register for the Dec. 8 ACT is Nov. 2.
The prom fee is discounted to $125 until December 19th. After the Christmas break, the fee goes up to $150. Each junior is responsible for the prom fee in order to attend and it covers BOTH junior and senior year.
