By: Gordon Korman, Hyperion PaperBacks, 2007, 208.
Capricorn (cap) Anderson was a Hippie boy because of his Grandma he lived on a Farm had no electronics, Electricity, no food only like things they Crop their selves. He's never watched tv, never tasted pizza, and never even heard of a wedgie. He was also home schooled by his hippie grandmother, Rain.
Rain falls out of a tree while picking plums and has to stay in the hospital, Cap is forced to move into a foster home with a cranky teen, While cap only knows about tie-dyeing and Zen Buddhism, no education could prepare him for the politics of public school In the city.
Capricorn has to go to Public school and he's never had to Experience something like that. He also never had Greasy food ex: Pizza, hotdog, and burgers stuff like that because he's lived on a farm for his whole life.
The book is called schooled because he was homeschooled for his whole life then he actually had to go to public school and he didn't want to but he had to because of what happened to his Grandma Rain.
I liked it because it was interesting about how he was the new kid and about what happened between his Grandma. I would give it a 5/5 i recommend you read it!
