Cow Spotted at Oakdale Adventure Connection

North High Art Students Excel

Recently the Art department submitted student artwork to the largest art competition held in Minnesota. This year's Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards competition received just under 4,000 submissions of some of the most creative, innovative, and technically-skilled work by 7-12th graders in the state of Minnesota. Students are judged on originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.

North High had 21 winners this year! Check out their award-winning artwork!

Scholastic Awards:

Gold Key: The very best works submitted. Gold Key works are automatically considered for national-level recognition.

Silver Key: Stand-out works that demonstrate exceptional ability.

Honorable Mention: Accomplished works showing great skill and potential.

Tartan High Students Explore the Future

Tartan High seniors Eniola Lamina and Jose Jaurides explored careers in the STEM & Environment pathway. Their takeaway from these informational interviews is that the trades offer a lot of flexibility and choice in what jobs to choose from.
