Request from Fifth Grade Eagle: Cards for Military
Hello English Landing Families!
I am a fifth grader in Mr. O'Connor's room and I have a proposal for YOU:
When I was in San Diego California with my whole family a lot of military personnel didn’t have family. Everywhere I went there was someone walking lonely. Whenever I watched videos from when my brother graduated from boot camp there were military with no family. I think it's not fair that they did all this work and there is no one to tell them good job or hug them. When... I came home from California I did some research on how to make military personnel feel like someone is there for them. For all summer I had this idea of doing something about this.
If your family would like to make a CARD for overseas men and women in the military, please bring the card(s) to the English Landing office by December 15th. If you have any questions please contact Miss Mehwald at email@example.com. Miss Mehwald will be delivering the cards or letters to a local organization that supports A Million Thanks Foundation who will send them off. The sooner, you can get them done the better!
