School Safety For more information regarding this subject please click here. | Fencing UpdateThe district is in the process of adding fencing to secure the building. This is a summer project and not all of the fencing lines have not been finalized. Rest assured, the goal is for the safety of all students and staff and the perimeter of the school will be fenced when this project is completed. | DoorbellIf you have visited us recently, you know that our front door is locked at all times. When you visit us, you will need to ring the bell and we will ask how we can help you. If you are here for school business, we will let you in. If your child arrives after the start of the day, please bring them to the front door and ring the bell and we will have you sign your student in. Thanks in advance. |

Kindness and Bobcat Lunch with the PrincipalThe students had a great time eating lunch with me on the stage with the curtains closed. We then moved to go on the balcony where the other students gave them a silent applause. | Then we were back on the stage and we opened the curtain to another silent round of applause. | Congratulations to our Kindness and Bobcat students for the month of February. |

3rd Grade Spanish PlayIt was amazing to see our 3rd graders perform their play with such enthusiasm, inflection and really truly each student playing their part. | It was great to see their Spanish skills and the fun they had performing for staff and families. | Nice job 3rd graders! |
Sra. Santa Cruz’s ClassThe students listened to a story about Grandma’s house that the teacher read in Spanish and then the students had to answer questions about weather and seasons. They are learning about climate in their Spanish LA class. | Health Office Request Our Health Clerk is asking for clothing donations especially for Kinder and 1st grade sized girls and boys clothes. | CFSD Poetry Contest The CFSD Poetry Contest was a huge success, and we have two amazing writers at Ventana Vista who won first prize at their grade level. They competed against students from all of the elementary schools in our district, so this is a huge honor! Please congratulate Farrah Elias in Kindergarten for her poem "Upon the Lovely Blue" and London Emerson in 4th grade for her poem "Come and Go". This is a short video of the writers sharing their poems if you can share it along with your announcements tomorrow. Thank you! |
