SPRING YARD SALE NEEDS A SPONSOR

Here's what is involved in being the sponsor:
1 - Select the Saturday on which to hold the event.
2 - Provide the proposed date to the HOA Board for approval.
3 - Place Ads in the Covington News and the Newton Citizen for the week of the event; you'll be reimbursed for this expense.
4 - Place the Yard Sale signs at each of the 3 entrances and at the pool area on the Sunday before the event to provide a full week's worth of free advertising for drive-thru customers; we already have pre-made signs ready to put out.
5 - Remove the signs on the date of the event after it ends.

A MESSAGE FROM ASHTON HILLS GOLF CLUB REGARDING UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS BY RESIDENTS
Over the past several months we have had several instances where people are using the golf course as either a place to ride their personal carts, a playground for their children or a personal walking path for exercise. Unfortunately, this is not permitted. Please be aware that a golf ball can travel up to 150 mph and being hit could cause serious injury. Therefore we do not allow any unauthorized access.

Below is a copy of the verbiage posted at all access points on the golf course:

Ashton Hills Golf Club is private property for use only by members and paying guests.
All unauthorized use is prohibited. Violators will be prosecuted.

PICK UP THE POOP AFTER YOUR PET - EVERY TIME! PLEASE!

This issue comes up regularly and nobody wants to find pet poop in their yard, on their driveway, or on the sidewalk in front of their home. City Ordinance requires that owners clean up after their pets. We should not be having this problem in a neighborhood as nice as ours.

PLEASE DO THE CONSIDERATE THING AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET EVERY SINGLE TIME!
LEASING REMINDERS FOR OWNERS/TENANTS:
.
1 - Any signage to advertise that your home is for lease must use the term "LEASE" and should not use the word "RENT." Signs using "Rent" will be asked to be removed immediately.
2 - The minimum lease term is 6-months and the normal lease term is 12-months.
3 - Any lease over 12-months must be pre-approved by the HOA.
4 - Tenants must be given a copy of our Covenants by the owner and tenants must acknowledge receipt of such.
5 - Tenants must be provided with information on how to contact Sentry Management by the owner (i.e. for pool key, etc.).
6 - A copy of the Lease Agreement must be provided to Sentry Management by the owner. Sentry will in turn provide a copy to the HOA Board.

If any owner or tenant has any questions, please direct all questions to Sentry Management.

Collins Pool Services - 770-389-9999 - to report any problems with the pool during Pool Season (ex. chemicals, cleanliness, fecal matter, etc.)
Tennis Courts are accessed via the same Pool Card that opens the pool gate. The tennis courts are available for residents and their guests only. Guests must be accompanied by a resident at all times. Leagues or Teams are not allowed. Rules of etiquette were included in the HANDBOOK so please refer to them if you have any questions.

GREEN VEHICLE STICKERS
If you do not have a Green Vehicle Sticker on each of your vehicles, please REPLY to this email providing your Name, Street Address, and the Number of Vehicles you have and they will be delivered to your mailbox.
If you would like a sticker for your golf cart too, please make that request as this is a great idea since many residents drive their golf carts to the pool.
OVERNIGHT VISITORS & CAMPERS/RVs PARKED IN THE STREET or AT POOL PARKING LOT - VISITOR PARKING PASS REQUIRED - NO EXCEPTIONS
Leaving unmarked cars parked in the Pool Parking Lot during the day or overnight is not allowed. If vehicles do not have a Green Vehicle Sticker on them then they MUST have a Visitor Parking Pass on them to keep from being towed.
