Big picture

Hustle and Bustle

The addition of our 2/3 students this week has only increased the joyful energy on campus. Add on pirates, Harry Potter, hamburgers, butterflies, and ghosts, and it doesn't get much better! Our modified version of celebrating in costume this year included a socially distanced individual class parade and freeze dance on the blacktop within each cluster. I needed the panoramic lens for the class picture ;). I am looking forward to putting on my sea foam green Mer-Pirate wig for Friday! RBG will be making a second appearance for Cohort B (Jane/Heike) and Assistant Principal Wolf will be back!

As a reminder, 4/5 families will receive their class and cohort placements on Monday, November 2nd by 5:00pm. You will either receive confirmation of your current class placement or notification of your new class community. The 4/5 teachers are in close communication to ensure a smooth and positive transition. You should hear from your child's teacher by the end of next week with details for the second first day of school :).

The picture of S'mores is compliments of a K/1 student in FDL. Nice job, Avery! Please stay well. I look forward to the next time I see you and your children!

Our responsibility extends beyond the school day

Please remember that County regulations require that students attend no more than one after-school program at this time. Click HERE for more information.

Students cannot attend more than one childcare program, after-school program, or other student activity within the same three-week period. For students enrolled in a K-12 school, this means they can attend school and one additional before- OR after-school program or activity.

We appreciate your support in keeping our students and teachers safe by maintaining family cohorts and practicing consistent safety protocols during non-school hours.

Fall Back - November 1

Remember to set your clocks back one hour on Sunday, November 1st!
