PK3.3 - Peek at Wellness Week
7th - 11th November
Hello PK3.3 parents!
Wellness Week is a week-long program of events and special offers designed to engage the students in learning about and experiencing ways to improve their physical and emotional health.
During this week, we focused our morning meetings on 4 aspects: healthy body, personal hygiene, healthy choice, and healthy mind. Take a look below and see what we have been getting up to this week.
Wishing you a restful weekend
Ms Jeanette and Ms Ana

OUR WEEK
What's your favorite way to exercise?
Tuesday Taste Testing
A BIG thank you to the moms who came to help with our taste testing; Christen, Veronica and Andrea. Your enthusiasm and encourgement certainly helped our PK3ers to eat a rainbow of fruits and vegetable!
Healthy Habits - Germs
To show the children how easily germs spread, they experimented by rubbing a glitter-filled moisturizer all over our hands and then tried to get it off. Moist glitter is almost impossible to wash off! Ms Ana explained how germs are a lot like glitter, and if we want to get rid of them we need to wash our hands properly.
WE ARE BUCKET FILLERS.........
We had a visit from Ms. Debbie who came by to teach us about yoga and how it helps our bodies. We practiced some poses and breathing techniques.
Garden and PE with Ms Sharon
- In garden this week Ms Sharon had the children tasting lemons! There were some fun reactions. "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!"
- In PE the children practiced balance and co-ordination as they walked on stilts.
