Almost Halfway Through our Academic School Year!
Your children are working so hard!
- If your child is in my social studies class, we have just finished a unit on studying classical civilizations around the world. Students had to research a civilization and then write a constructed response about it.
- If your child is in my English class, we have been reading and analyzing a book called Seedfolks in class. We are working on discussions through literature circles.
If you ever have a question, please email me: samantha.huebler@novik12.org
Holiday Break & Important Dates
- We will not have school beginning December 21 through January 5.
- School resumes on January 6.
- Please look at the exam schedule pictured above. We do not have school on January 20 nor January 24.
- On January 8, your child will be taking the NWEA standardized test for English with Ms. Shannon and Ms. Huebler. Your child does not need to study for this test.
Please take this break to allow your children some rest and relaxation. Spend some quality time with them and enjoy their company while they are home.
I wish you all safe travels, good health, and a joyous New Year.
