BTPS Weekly Update

October 18-22, 2021

Superintendent's Memo - Monday, October 18, 2021

Hi Team,

I hope you all enjoyed some sunshine this weekend. I was able to continue adding to my steps and by my calculations, I only need to walk for 64 more days to catch up to Colleen Tabish who logged 912,993 steps in September.

Monday, October 18th marks election day. Information about elections in BTPS is posted on our website. BTPS has four trustees who are not seeking re-election. Lanie Parr, Board Chair, Darcy Eddleston, Marie Isaman and Sheldon Archibald. I personally want to thank these trustees for their dedication and commitment to our students, rural education and our staff during their time on the Board. They served us well and will be missed.

Heather Rentz, Innovation Coach, will be leaving BTPS in November. She has accepted another opportunity to lead learning. We will miss her in our division. We know that she will be amazing and continue to make impacts on learning with all of her talents.

Take care and enjoy the week,

Rhae-Ann
