This week's Homework
The homework packet is being sent home today and will be due on Thursday. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
This week's concepts
Math - Calendar, Object patterns, problem-solving strategy: looking for a pattern, sound patterns, movement patterns and predicting patterns.
Reading - Sight words (can, to, at, I, we, a like, the, some, one, two, three, an, has) Asking questions, compare and contrast and reading comprehension.
Phonics - word family -at, identifying beginning and ending sounds.
Parent Teacher Conferences
I sent out a sign up genius form for Parent / Teacher Conferences. The conference should last no more than 20 minutes. We will discuss how your child is doing in the class, and completed testing. Please bring any questions you may have. Below is a link to the form.

Scientist of the Week
The Scientist of the Week is Kendall! We love our scientist presentations! So far we have learned about aerodynamics, polymers, and surface tension. We can't wait to see what the next experiment will be in our class!
Po Prayer Bear
Po spent the week with Semilore and Damilola. This week he will be with Grace!
