How do I know if my child is struggling with a mental health issue?

Whether it's handling day-to-day stress or significant, unexpected changes, we all need help at some point in our lives. When it comes to our children, they cannot always tell us that they're struggling. It can be difficult to determine if a child's behavior is a typical developmental phase or something that says "I am having a hard time- I need help ."
