Klager Board Report

For the month of January

Photographers and Facebook

We are hoping to add to our Facebook account, at least, four days a week. We want the world to know about all of the wonderful things that happen in our sweet little school. We will report upcoming events and daily happenings.

We are asking our photography leaders to submit one photograph a week that highlights the daily happenings. We have 8 assigned photographers who take event photos and we believe they will be able to capture the daily greatness that is Klager

The Leader in Me

As a part of our Leader in Me training and grant funding, we will host a Leadership Day to showcase our commitment and progress. We will host our Leadership Day on March 23rd from 9:00-10:30 am. This event will be geared to the community and School Board. We hope to host a very similar event for parents just after this presentation. The format will be similar to that of our Senior Luncheon, in that the audience will gather in the gym and the children will parade in and share how the Leader in Me looks in their classroom. We will have time for question and answer and light refreshments. I hope you can mark this day on your calendar.

Title 1A Changes

We are lucky to have the chance to offer more reading and math intervention at the semester break. We will be hosting before and after school intervention support. We also look to add two half-time instructional paraprofessionals to the Title 1 program to support mathematics.

Kindergarten Information Night and Roundup will be here soon.

Mrs. Marsh and I will work with the major players, the bus garage, Chartwells, and our staff,

to set the dates for the information night and Roundup event. We would like to advertise aggressively like Mrs. Mayes has done in the past. If you feel you have a connection with a church or news source, let me know and we can make sure you have the press releases to pass on to your connection.
