Thank-A-Teacher
It's that time of year again for the Annual P-H-M Education Foundation's Thank-a-Teacher. This is a wonderful way to say a special thank you to your child's teacher, or any P-H-M staff member that has made a difference in their lives. Your donation will go into our Grant Fund, which is returned to the schools in the form of Teacher Grants that include programs and projects that cannot be funded through school budgets. The nominee will receive a note with your special message, a pin for their lanyard, and the first 125 will receive a free Gold Car Wash courtesy of Drive & Shine. See phmef.org for more details or to download a form.
Thank you note from Mrs. Schirripa
Dear Northpoint Staff and Students,
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your incredible contribution of items to the blessing boxes that will soon be gifted to families in need at Madison Elementary.
Your generosity and compassion have truly touched our hearts. Your willingness to support those who are less fortunate speaks volumes about the kind-hearted community at Northpoint. It is heartwarming to witness such a strong sense of unity and empathy among your staff and students.
Through your thoughtful donations, you have extended a lifeline to families who are facing challenging times. Your act of kindness will undoubtedly make a significant difference in their lives and serve as a beacon of hope during difficult moments. The collective effort that went into assembling these blessing boxes is a testament to the power of the Northpoint community and the positive impact we can achieve when we come together with a common goal. Your contributions will not only provide essential resources but also inspire a sense of belonging and support within our PHM community.
It is wonderful to know that we have such compassionate and giving individuals in our PHM family. Your dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others is truly commendable, and it sets a shining example for all of us.
Once again, thank you for your invaluable contributions and for being a beacon of light for those in need. Your actions embody the spirit of compassion and selflessness.
Warm regards,
Lindsay Schirripa

Yearbook Orders
It's that time of year once again, Yearbook is in need of volunteers for each of our classrooms to help make the classroom pages portion of the yearbook. Much of this yearbook assignment can be done from the comfort of your computer or if you are so inclined, you can be as involved as you like; such as going into the class and taking student's pictures, designing a theme, creating props- the opportunities are wide open.
We would love to have multiple volunteers for each classroom, as they say many hands make lighter work. Please fill out this Google form and we will contact you soon! Thank you!

Procedures for Car Pool Line
Due to an increased amount of car riders this year, we need to change our car pool procedures to provide a safer environment for our staff and students. Please be sure to pick up a car tag number in the office if you don't have one yet. We would appreciate your patience and cooperation as we implement the following new procedures;
1. Once you have entered the curb line up, please wait until you have been ushered forward to begin exiting the car pool line.
2. DO NOT pass around cars at any time while you are in the car pool line.
3. Cars will be stopped at the entrance to the the curb line to allow for all students to enter vehicles and exit safely.
4. Your child will be directed to walk safely to their vehicle that should be stopped along the curb.
5. If you are stopped at the entrance to the car pool line, you will be the lead car that should pull all the way up to the first cone . DO NOT STOP WHERE YOUR CHILD MIGHT BE STANDING.
6. PLEASE STAY OFF YOUR CELL PHONES DURING CAR POOL PICK UP.
7. Watch for the traffic ushers who will be wearing orange vests to direct you when in the curb lane.
8. IF THE BELL RINGS AND THERE ARE NO LONGER ANY ADULTS AT THE CURB, PLEASE PARK YOUR CAR AND WALK YOU CHILD INTO THE BUILDING.
We understand that waiting in a long line is frustrating, but we have to think of the safety of our students and staff members. We appreciate your support with these new procedures. Please call Mrs. White at 574-271-8598 or email her at lwhite@phm.k12.in.us if you have any questions.
