Parent Teacher Conferences

Thursday, January 24th: 4pm to 7:30pm

Friday, January 25th: 8am to noon

Conferences are arena style- pop in when you have time and visit teachers in the commons.

Cereal Boxes Needed!

Ms. Eberhard is still in need of cereal boxes for an upcoming project. Please bring your empty boxes to the office and we can get them to her classroom. Thank you!

College Gear Day!

Starting 2nd trimester (12/5) we will be sporting our college gear every Wednesday at OMS! Wear your favorite school proudly!

Bring Your Box Tops!

Box Tops are worth 10 cents and every little bit adds up! Remember to cut your box tops off and send them to school. We have a collection box in the office.

Band Corner

January 10 and 11: Nominated 8th grade band students will be at Central Oregon Honor Band

January 25-26: Jazz Band will be on their overnight trip to the North Albany Jazz Festival

PE/Health Happenings!

Gym Corner:

Girls basketball begins on Jan 8th and 9th with tryouts. All 6th, 7th and 8th girls interested in playing b-ball will need to have an updated physical and insurance form on file. Paperwork is needed to tryout. Don't miss it!

Health News:

Mrs. Stock's classes have completed units in nutrition and sexual health. Classes will begin the year learning more about drugs (alcohol, tobacco and other drugs) as well as mental health, violence prevention and first aid and CPR. Health will end for most classes around the first week of February.
