Global Education
- Interested in taking your students on a Live Virtual Field Trip? UNC Carolina Navigators is sponsoring FREE virtual field trips to different countries on Wednesday, November 8. Please share with your teachers. Additional information about this opportunity is listed at the link above.
- Help your students investigate the world through Project Explorer. Project Explorer is a great multimedia resource that brings the world into your classroom. The site provides 425 videos all under five minutes. These videos may be used as a springboard to begin a conversation about diversity. FREE lesson plans are provided.

Technology Topics
All GCS staff have access to OneDrive, a cloud storage place for all documents, video, photos, etc. that works. Simply upload your documents at school and you will have access when you need it in other locations. See Pat's newsletter linked below for more details on uploading documents.

- · Create some sort of online “presentation” of each book using Web 2.0 tools. (The idea is to learn the programs as well as share them.)

Karen has added most of you who attended the last meeting to the Canvas class. When you login into your NCED Cloud account you can click on Canvas. Take some time to explore Canvas and we will discuss it at our next meeting.
If you were not at our first meeting, please let me know if you want to participate and I will add you to the Canvas class.
