Chipmunk Chatter
For The Week of April 19th through April 23rd
Administrators' Message
Dear Sandymount Families~
It is difficult to believe that we are heading into the second week of the fourth marking period. Report cards were sent home with students today and mailed home to students who attend virtually. Please take some time to celebrate your child’s learning achievements and/or improvements. This would also be the perfect time to set one or two goals for the fourth quarter.
Mr. Brandenburg, our school custodian, is doing an amazing job encouraging students to take pride in their school by helping to keep their classroom neat and tidy! Mr. Brandenburg rewards students with chipper bucks and recognizes the neatest classrooms with the Golden Broom and Golden Dustpan. This week he invited a special friend to visit each Kindergarten classroom. Our Kindergarten’s were super excited to meet Chipper in person for the first time!
Best of luck to the coaches and students participating in the virtual Battle of the Books this evening. Sandymount has nine teams competing this school year. We are competing against nine other schools, instead of the usual three. The competition will be fierce, but our SES Chipmunks are ready for the challenge! We will find out the winners during the awards ceremony on May 7, which will also be a virtual event.
Thank you for your support. Have a wonderful weekend!

All funds will be used to cover expenses for online subscriptions, agenda books, classroom supplies and a donation to the Technology Fund.
