A Message from Mrs. Rittmiller
Greetings Families,
As we start the month of October our students and all staff are in full swing. Routines are in place, whole and small group learning opportunities are happening and schedules are busy! Thank you for ensuring your student/s are getting sleep each night. During sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development. The recommendation for children ages 6-12 is 10-12 hours of sleep each night.
Students at Bridges have also had 4 fire and 2 lock down drills. We have also had bus safety and bus evacuation. The students and staff have taken all of these drills seriously and are indeed prepared.
Our first lifeskills have been truthfulness and trustworthiness. We are definitely putting these lifeskills into practice.
We celebrate our custodians this week! Thanks Will and Al for all you do at Bridges! Thank you also for all of the students and parents that participated in the Bike and Walk to School Day! What a great success and a great way to start the day.
Working together,
Jody Rittmiller, Principal
