Stone Bank School
Reaching Out ~ March 27, 2020
#separatedTOGETHER!!
Dear Stone Bank Families and Students:
Helen Keler once said, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” This last week, we have seen firsthand what we can do together in support of our learners, their learning, our families, and our community. We can’t thank you enough!
As we launch into another week of Virtual learning beginning March 30th, classroom teachers will continue to reach out to families/students with weekly overviews and online learning resources. All communication related to learning will come from classroom teachers. The following teacher will be making pick-up materials available at Stone Bank School for this week:
4K students with Ms. Volk have a learning packet for each 4K student
The pick-up time for the 4K learning materials will be 9:00am-2:00pm on Monday, March 30th.
Building Closure:
Our building continues to remain closed under Governor Ever’s “safer in place” order. All school facilities, including playgrounds, blacktop areas and sports fields, will not be available for usage during the school closure dates.
Chromebook and Technology Questions/Support:
It is important for students to continue to connect with their teachers and classmates. In the event a student is in need of a Chromebook checkout or tech/login support, please email Mr. Jay Jaeger at j.jaeger@stonebank.k12.wi.us.
Communication with Stone Bank:
In the event a student or family needs to reach our front office for a question or emergency, please email Kristin Magnuson at k.magnuson@stonebank.k12.wi.us and/or Karrie Beth at k.beth@stonebank.k12.wi.us. Emails will be checked daily. Please note that email will be our most reliable source of communication during this time as many of our staff will be working remotely.
As we navigate these unchartered waters together, remember this; we are together. We are here to support our families and our learners so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.

Stone Bank Yearbook Photos wanted
Submit Your “Learning at Home” Photos for the Yearbook!
We, at Empire Photo, are inspired and grateful for all of the amazing teachers and parents that have worked to help make digital learning possible for students across Wisconsin while schools are closed. We would like to invite you to submit some photos of your children “learning at home” so that we could possibly include them in this year’s yearbook. This will be a memorable school year for all students and we think that it would be cool for them to have something to look back on years from now that shows our community coming together and making the best of a difficult situation. *
Instructions for Stone Bank School:
1. Click to upload images: http://lpx.me/WXEC-UWH4-P9UY/
2. Click the “Add Images” button
3. Browse to where your images are on your computer or phone and upload them. Then you’re done!
Please note that nothing about this is required. You don’t have to submit a photo and you also don’t have to order a yearbook to submit a photo. If you have not ordered this year’s yearbook and you would like to, we have opened it up so that families can order online until April 1, 2020.
Here is the link to order: http://sales.yearbookmarket.com/stores/stonebankschool
*Please note: not all submitted images are guaranteed to be used in the yearbook. The link above goes directly into the software for creating your school’s yearbook, so any images you upload would only be used for this year’s yearbook and will not be accessible for anyone to download or reproduce. Please note that by uploading images to the dropbox, you are consenting for those images to be made public. Any images deemed appropriate by Empire or school staff are not allowed and will be removed from the software immediately. Before uploading any images, please consider that the images that you upload will possibly be used in a published book that many people will receive. Be aware of anything visible in the background of the image that you might not want the world to see.
If you have any questions, please contact Empire Photography at customerservice@empirephotos.com
Stay healthy! Thank you!
