HOW DO PHOTOGRAPHS MAKE WAR SEEM MORE REAL?

It's striking because it shocks people to see anyone getting killed in the battlefield. It's controversial because people make sides to support or go against the war. It makes people really think.

SHOULD THE MILITARY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CENSOR IMAGES PRODUCED BY A PHOTOGRAPHER?

SHOULD THE MILITARY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CENSOR IMAGES PRODUCED BY A PHOTOGRAPHER?

Honestly, yes. Even if there is a photo that needs to be shared, sometimes things are better when it's kept hidden. Subjects like these are kept neutral for some. It can be shared with certain people though, like a family, or the entire military. Depending on the context of the photo though, it might be safe to keep it hidden so chaos doesn't break out.

DO PICTURES OF THE MILITARY DEAD NEED TO BE SHARED WITH THE PUBLIC?

No, I don't think so. Unless it's a turning point in history, but it's really up to the family to release it. That's a very private matter.

HOW CAN PHOTOGRAPHS BE USED AS REALISTIC TOOLS FOR POTENTIAL SOCIAL CHANGE? CAN PEOPLE TAKE ACTION AFTER VIEWING CERTAIN PHOTOS?

Yes, I believe so. Teens seeing the Vietnam war in action decided to fight back against the US and tell them to get out of the war.
