A Message From Our Principal
I would like to thank everyone for all you do each and every day. You all welcome students to your classroom, prepare engaging lessons on a variety of levels, counsel, hug, praise, console, re-direct, assess, re-teach, attend meetings, plan and so many other things all throughout the day. Thank you for your dedication and support to ensure students have what they need to be successful. As we discussed earlier this year IMPACT - to affect, to have an effect (on). The IMPACT we have with each other, students and parents is extremely important as this is a busy time with a lot going on for everyone, so I’m going to make a conscious effort to try to use my IMPACT in a positive manner. Thank you for the tremendous IMPACT you have on students’ lives each and every day. I hope you all have a wonderful week. Please remember to give time for yourselves too and enjoy this joyous season.

- All new printers have been replaced. If your printer is not installed on your laptop, you can install it through the Unity Helpdesk. Let Carol Ann know if you are having issues connecting your printer.
- We received an extra color printer so the printer that was once at Jennie Hartzler's desk is now in the teacher lunchroom/data room (179). Feel free to print your color copies there!
- Over the break, the county updated our network so that each classroom has a "hotspot." This update should dramatically increase connectivity which will be especially helpful for Milestone testing! Woohoo!
- Mrs. Hobbs and Mrs. Dunlap will be teaching Digital Citizenship/Internet Safety lessons to 3rd through 5th-grade classes in December. Kindergarten through 2nd-grade classes will participate in this lesson in January. Please sign up for a date once the calendar is sent out.
