Cyberbullying
Tips on how to prevent cyberbullying
1. Don’t respond
Sometimes a reaction is exactly what bullies are looking for because they think it gives them power over you. If you can, remove yourself from the situation. If you can’t, sometimes humor disarms or distracts a person from bullying.
2. Save the evidence
The only good news about digital bullying is that the mean messages can usually be captured, saved, and shown to someone who can help. You need to do this even if it’s minor stuff, in case things get worse
3. Block the Bully
If the harassment’s coming in the form of instant messages, texts, or profile comments, then just simply go to setting and block the person. If it’s in chat, leave the “room.”
