Another successful P.O.I.N.T. Celebration

Tigers were nominated by teachers and staff for getting the P.O.I.N.T (Pride, Perserverance, Ownership, Intellectual Capacity, Nobility and Teamwork). The celebration was a success and we enjoyed celebrating the great work our Tigers are doing. Tigers had inflatables, board games, snacks, video games and opportunities to play some recreational sports if they chose to. Great way to start the Thanksgiving break!

Stony Point staff is feeling the love!

Thank you to the Cuero family who cooked and served our staff a delicious feast the week before going on break! It was delicious and our staff was so appreciative.

Thank you to our wonderful PTSA who also organized a wonderful luncheon for PTSA staff members! The food was so good and we appreciate all the great things SPHS PTSA does for our campus, staff and students.

Ms. Sunshine Morgan

How long have you been at Stony Point: 18 years

What is your position at Stony Point: Theatre II, Theatre Production I/II, Technical Theatre II-IV

What do you love about your job: I love watching students create. Whether that be as an actor on stage or building a set piece. There is something beautiful about watching a teenager learn something new and be proud of it that I can't get enough of.

What are your hobbies: I am a taxi for my 13 year old daughter. I exercise often and spend a lot to time outside with my dogs.

Food Services and Romaine lettuce

Tigers on Time Information

If your student failed the six weeks in a certain course, they have the opportunity to recover the grade. Click on the link below to learn more about the Tigers on Time program and to get the Registration form. Thank you!

If you are picking up your student from school, here's the 411 to make your life easier!

  • Send a signed note with your student indicating what time they will be picked up. Have them bring the note to the front office BEFORE SCHOOL to obtain a pass from class. They'll be waiting for you in the office when you arrive.
  • Car traffic is not allowed while the buses are out front. Pick up before 3:55 pm.
  • ONLY those individuals listed on your student's file, with photo ID, will be permitted to sign them out of school. Phone calls and email requests will not be accepted. Prepare now by coming in person with photo ID to add authorized adults to pick up your student. See Mrs. Arzola or Mrs. Gamboa to add authorized adults.
  • If your student is driving, then still send a note but be specific in stating that you give them "permission to drive themselves off campus". List your phone number so that we can call you to verify. Have them come by the office before school for a pass.

IB Students, stay in the loop.

IB 11th and 12th grade students are reminded to please check your email and ManageBac on a daily basis. This is the primary source of IB news from your IB Coordinator. Topics vary from IB exam registration updates to CAS opportunities and program activity announcements. Stay connected, so you don't miss a deadline.
