2022 PTA Father Daughter Dance
Given the overwhelming response to the 2022 Father Daughter Dance, we are pleased to announce that a LIMITED number of additional tickets have been made available for purchase. Please go to MyPaymentsPlus as soon as possible to secure your tickets. PLEASE NOTE -tickets will be available until the event is sold out or no later then Wed., February 16th. Please visit MyPaymentsPlus TODAY to secure your spot before tickets sell out again. WE WILL NOT BE SELLING TICKETS AT THE DOOR. You must show proof of purchase via MyPaymentsPlus to gain admission to the event.

Gwinnett Public Schools' Tapestry Art Show celebrates artistic talent from across the school district. It is a special honor to have your work chosen for this show, and featured artists should be proud of their hard work and talent.
Congratulations to the 32 Brookwood Elementary students who will be featured in this year's Tapestry Art Show. The Brookwood Cluster will celebrate with a gathering at the Gwinnett County Public Schools Instructional Support Center on Friday, February 25th from 5:30 - 7:00pm.

Race proceeds will also go to benefit the The Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry, The Lilburn Cooperative Ministry, and The Brookwood Schools Foundation.
The Scholastic Book Fair is Coming!
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming back to Brookwood Elementary. Important Book Fair dates:

- March 2nd & 3rd - Family Shopping Days - 1:00 - 3:00pm

Wednesday, March 2 is a Digital Learning Day
On March 2nd, GCPS will have a digital learning day for ALL students. We are grateful for the opportunity to have this day to allow teachers to plan future lessons for students as well as hold parent/teacher conferences.
On this Digital Learning Day:
- Students can find all their lessons and assignments on eCLASS, but there will be no live instruction. Please view the video below for directions on how to get to your teacher's eCLASS page.
All students will complete their special area class digitally. More information is on the Brookwood ES homepage.
Meals will be delivered along all bus routes.
A MESSAGE FROM The BES HEALTH RESPONSE TEAM
Did you know that Brookwood ES has a Health Response Team (HRT) which manages and communicates COVID related information with staff, students and parents? The HRT gathers information, conducts contact investigations and communicates as needed. In the next few months, it is important that you continue to alert the school if your child develops symptoms or tests positive for the virus.
Common symptoms include:
Fever (100.4 or higher), Cough, Shortness of breath, muscle/body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, congestion/runny nose, nausea/vomiting, sore throat, fatigue

Volunteers needed for the PTA Nominating Committee
PTA is in need of 5 PTA members to volunteer to be on the nominating committee to select the 2022 - 2023 PTA Executive Board. Nominating committee members MUST be a member of PTA. If you are not a current member of PTA, you can sign up at the PTA website.

2022 Bronco Aces
Bronco Aces Club is for future Brookwood Bronco tennis players ages 14 and under. They will be hosting the Bronco Aces Tennis Fun Days on Sunday, March 6th, 20th, and 27th. Elementary and middle school students will get a chance to receive instruction from the Brookwood Tennis Coaches as well as the Brookwood JV and Varsity tennis teams. Middle School Summer Adventures: Career Exploration at Maxwell High School of Technology
The Summer Adventure Career Exploration at Maxwell High School will run May 31 - June 3 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. The Career Exploration programs are designed for current 5th - 8th graders. Students can choose to explore programs in the careers of animation, automotive services, cosmetology, culinary arts, and more.
