Ice Rink Update

The Morrisville Fire Department added water to our rink last week. Coach Bu will be adding water daily in an effort to have enough ice to skate on as soon as possible.


XC Ski Update

Grades 3-8 will be starting XC skiing for the winter season during PE classes. Coach Bu would like to thank Michelle Tomlinson (Grant Writer Extraordinaire) and Power Play Sports (Caleb and his staff) for sourcing great equipment and for exceptional service. We are also grateful to Pete Glowac for grooming our trails! We ask that students come to school PREPARED. We are going to brave the elements, so make sure to pack mittens/gloves, snow pants, hats and a few layers.

Re-enrollment Contracts Coming Home Today

Please check your youngest student's backpack for next year's enrollment contract printed on blue paper; there is only one contract per family.


Great news! Tuition remains the same for returning families who:

* Return their contract and seat deposit(s) by Feb 11.

* Paid their student accounts, in full, from the 2021-22 academic year by June 1.


Reminder: $30 activity fee is not due at this time - it will be billed with tuition through FACTS.

School Mass Update

We will return to celebrating Mass in our multi-purpose room starting next week. We will invite one class per week to attend in person while the remaining classes will continue to attend virtually. We ask that each family decide independently whether their student(s) will receive Communion.

A Special Introduction

Hello Families!

I would like to formally introduce myself as BJAMS Social-Emotional Interventionist. My name is Samantha Gentle, and students call me Miss Sammy. I meet with several students in the lower and upper school divisions through classroom and small group interventions; I also meet with students individually. My practices reflect the foundations of social-emotional learning: self-awareness, self-management, social-awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills.


My mission at BJAMS is to provide students with the necessary tools and resources to excel in their classrooms and communities. Please feel free to direct any of your questions or concerns to sgentle@bjams.org

Basketball Update

Thank you to all the players who attended Mr.Bu's basketball weeks! It seems numbers have diminished so we will be ending this week.

School Choice - Attention 8th grade parents

Now is the time to start thinking about where your student will go to high school next year.


Morrisville and Elmore 8th grade parents: You will receive a letter from your local school district with a school-choice enrollment application in the mail shortly after January 28, 2022. You can also access the application at this link: www.morrisville.org after that date. Contact Sheila Jones at sheila.jones@lsuu.org if you do not receive one.


Parents in other school districts: Please contact your local public high school right away if you are interested in the state's school-choice lottery for your 8th grader to be considered at another public school outside of your residency district. Call them NOW to confirm their timeline of application submission since applications may be closing in mid February.

We have officially opened applications for our Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 for 2022-2023! Do you have a pre-k child at home? Submit an application today! Know a friend who has a 3 or 4 year old and might be interested in BJAMS? Tell them to apply now and you get a tuition referral discount (make sure they list you on the application)! Students entering into our Pre-K3 must be 3 by August 1st and students entering into our Pre-K4 must be 4 by September 1.
