This Week's Focus
"Telegraph is Awesome!"
Welcome to October
Items to keep in mind during the weeks of 10/1-10/12
- We are close to wrapping up this quarter, and I hope with all the data you have you are able to get some small group instructional time in. I know Helen is seeing some growth with her kids already, and trends line are established. We will STAR all of our students again before the end of the quarter. Classroom teachers will only STAR their students who are not IEP or Title please have this done before 10/15.
- MILE RUN THIS WEEK FOR COACH--PLEASE REMIND STUDENTS OF TENNIS SHOES AND WATER BOTTLES ON TUESDAY OR THURSDAY DEPENDING ON THEIR DAY. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mvmApHbK173djzyLzY9H6x1auzosRnsOwx0xc-epqKw/edit
- Monday morning, I have an 8am IEP meeting. Ms. Doyle will be supervising Mrs. Kausler's kids during the meeting.
- Tuesday Night is McTeacher Night--please make your best attempt to attend the night, Everyone wear your Telegraph is Awesome Shirts. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uHlwDsm5B6NqcNyAP4_Q9UWNnN99K5cLd58MWRkPSQo/edit?usp=sharing
- Wednesday Night is the CSIP Meeting at the PAC at 6:30pm; all of you are invited to attend. This is a great opportunity to share our celebrations of achievement and possible obstacles we may face in the future. I think it is great to have the teachers input as a part of the meeting, because you are the ones "living it" each day.
- Habit 7-5th Grade Teachers... You decide which two are leading us on Friday.
- Next week we have our HOCO celebrations but they kick it off on Friday with an assembly lead by our JHS students at 1245. Thank you to the fourth grade for creating a fun week for our students during homecoming week, please make sure you mark these events on your plans.
- On Tuesday, October 9-we have a Fire Drill with the R7 Fire Department at 12:45. Followed by a presentation at 1:30.
- Friday, October 12-DONUT DAY at TELEGRAPH. We are also going to have the ICE CREAM TRUCK prior to the parade.
- End of the quarter is 10/12. Window for grades will open on 10/11.
- Shout out to our birthday girls this week! Cindy Bailey on Tuesday and Cyndy Wrigley on Friday!
- As many of you leave the building each afternoon please know the door for Kids Korner has a buzzer system for entry. Do not let parents into the building without them buzzing in. I know this may seem rude but we need to make sure Coach is aware of who is in the building after 3:00. Thank you, and I will speak to Coach so he can let his parents know we are not being rude just keeping the same procedures we have in place throughout the day in the afternoon as well.
