A big thank you to all in our community who served our country! We appreciate you!

Our busy week included a full week of Parent Teacher Conferences! Hopefully every family was able to meet with their childs' teacher in person or virtually. These early meetings are so important in setting up a productive working relationship to help our students achieve! Our goal is 100%! Report cards will be sent out virtually to parents on November 21, 2022.

Shout out to Ms. Springer, our art teacher! Her students created a lovely hallway mural, "I Love Beck". Mrs. Morgan's 4th graders are showing their school pride in the picture below!

As we resume more 'normal' activities this year, we are able to bring parents back into the school to volunteer for parties, help in the classroom, and go on field trips. Any parents interested in participating in school events MUST have a current background check on file (2022-2023 school year). We will not be able to allow chaperones to participate who have not successfully completed the background check process. To get a copy of the background check application, please call our school office to have one sent home 586-797-3900.

Looking ahead we have Thanksgiving break coming up beginning Wednesday, Nov. 23 through Sunday, Nov. 27. School resumes on Monday, Nov. 28.

School Picture re-take day is Wednesday, Nov. 30

BFV Santa Shop is scheduled for Dec. 5 - 9. More details to follow soon!

Alex's project this year picks up on the tradition at Beck dating back to 2005 when an Eagle Scout created the walkway to the sign. During the parking lot renovation the original paver stones were recovered and reset (see pic below).

Beck is very lucky to have such dedicated students that continue to give back to their school even after they have moved on! Thank you Alex, your scouts in Troop 256 and the Wodniak family for this beautiful addition to the Beck sign!
