FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
This week has been a week full of good news!
What a wonderful day we had on Monday celebrating the life of Miss Hirsch. Our students and staff came ready to make it a memorable day. I hope that your children shared with you about the day. The News Tribune certainly gave our special day nice attention. I hope you saw the article in Tuesday’s paper. And the Cardinal win was a bit of good news too!
Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Team for taking first place this year! Members of the team were: Griffin Buschjost, Katy Mehan, Grace Castle, Rylie Kolb, Eli Bruemmer, Miranda Kolb, Jada Markway, Grant Boessen, Josie Heckenkamp and Will Gallaher. What an honor for our school and the families of these students. Thank you, Mrs. Andrews, for preparing these students.
The Robotics Team participated in the Robot Parade at the mall last weekend. Members of the club who participated are: Nick Pickett, Kearra Steinlage, Alex Neiman, Cameron Ashley, and Jared Wortmann. The parade was featured in the News Tribune and our students were included in a picture of the story.
Midquarter reports are being sent home today. I hope it includes some good news on grades.
Grandparents Day will be next Friday, April 22. It will include Mass at 8:00, a reception and a short program in the gym. Activities will be completed by 10:00 a.m. We look forward to visiting with all the grandmas and grandpas of our school and parish community.
Don’t miss the Art Show this weekend!

Great effort by all track and field athletes at these meets!
This week, the 7th and 8th graders are at Fulton High School on 4/12 and the 5th and 6th graders are at TJ again on 4/13. Go Raiders!!!
Congratulations to all of the St. Stanislaus Raiders Archers for their performance at the MONASP STATE 3D ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT.
The Elementary Team Won the State Championship Title taking 1st Place with a score of 1290. This actually would have put them in 3rd place in the Middle School division this year second only to the St. Stanislaus Middle School Team and Sarcoxie. This score would have placed 5th at Nationals last year. It would not have beaten our team score from the World Tournament last year (1295). Great job and something to shoot for at Nationals!
The Middle School Team did very well also placing 2nd place with a score of 1346. A very good team from Sarcoxie won the title.
Liz Drainer won 1st Place in the Elementary Girls Division with a score of 267 bringing home our 3rd State Championship Title of the season!
Alyssa Gipe was tied for 1st Place in the Middle School Division with a score of 278. She was bumped to 2nd place with a very tense and close tie-breaker shoot off at the end of the tournament.
Cayden Grothoff placed 2nd for Elementary Boys with a score of 271.
Eli Bruemmer placed 4th for Middle School Boys and Avery Doerhoff placed 4th for Elementary Girls.
Those shooters in the top 5 will receive awards.
Others in the top 10 in their division: Ben Hoelscher 8th place, Brock Brenneke 8th place, Lainey Hood 7th place, Miranda Kolb 10th place.
Great job to all of the Archers from St. Stan. We could not be more proud of you. Cheer them on as they start preparing next week for the National Tournament in Louisville, KY on May 12- 14th.
