Natick Summer Learning Enrichment Courses 2023

This year will mark the 99th year of this patriotic ceremony that serves as the beginning of Natick's Memorial Day weekend festivities. The event is co-sponsored by the Natick Public Schools and the American Legion E.P. Clark Post 107.
This ceremony consists of the current Standard Bearers (the students who raise and lower the flag at each school -- or class Presidents at NHS) passing on their duties to those students picked for the upcoming school year.
Both the incoming and outgoing Standard Bearer (not the alternate Standard Bearer) will give short speeches addressing what it means to them to be selected, or what their experiences have been like during their tenure.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 24th @6:30pm
WHERE: Kennedy Middle School Auditorium
Principal's Message
Dear Johnson Families,
Our Johnson Elementary School Field Day will be held next Friday, May 26. Our physical education teacher Ms. Lexi Fahey has begun the planning for what promises to be an exciting, fun-filled, all-day event for the entire Johnson Community!
Please consider volunteering to make this year’s event a special day for all of our students. We are in need of parents and grandparents to volunteer for as much time as you are available to assist (as little as 30 minutes, or perhaps sign-up to help for the morning or afternoon).
Please use this link to sign-up to volunteer. In the event of extremely stormy weather, this event will be held on Tuesday, June 6.
Best regards,
John

SPARK KINDNESS PRESENTS:
How to Live on Dream Street: A Diverse Books Story Hour June 3 at 2pm at the Natick High School Library, 15 West St, Natick
For the whole community (the book is geared for children ages 4-8)
Join us as award winning illustrator and artist Ekua Holmes reads “Dream Street” about a special street bursting with joy, hope, and dreams and shares about the creative process of illustrating the book. The story encourages all readers to get to know the characters in their neighborhoods, to lift up the dreams of others in their families and communities and to believe in the future. Dream Street speaks to the importance of community and how each person has unique qualities to share. Families will also be able to participate in hands-on activities connected to the book. This event is Autism Welcoming and we encourage attendees to share any specific needs as they register to help us make the event more accessible. Learn more about this FREE program and register at www.SPARKKindness.org
