Word from the Principals
Mrs. CortesRangel- Principal ADC families, It has been great seeing our students back ready and excited to learn. I ask that you continue supporting our school community by being an active participant in your child's education. Students have taken their beginning of year MAP Growth assessments for math and reading. Please ask your child to tell you about their progress and their goals as well as action steps they will take to continue growing. As always please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions to help us improve. | Mrs. Arriola- Assistant PrincipalADC Families, This year we will continue tracking attendance for each class. The class with the highest attendance percentage for the six weeks will receive the Attendance trophy. If your child has to be absent, please do not forget to submit your doctor's note or a handwritten note on the day the student comes back to school to justify the absence. Mrs. Arriola- Assistant Principal
ADC Families,
This year we will continue tracking attendance for each class. The class with the highest attendance percentage for the six weeks will receive the Attendance trophy.
If your child has to be absent, please do not forget to submit your doctor's note or a handwritten note on the day the student comes back to school to justify the absence.
Also, please keep in mind that students that arrive after 7:50 will be marked tardy as school starts at 7:50 am.
Thank you for helping us ensure that our students are at school ready to learn every day.
If you have questions or concerns, do not hesitate and contact us!
Important notes to always keep in mind:
Attendance- If your student is absent more than two consecutive days you will need to bring a doctor's note in order to excuse the absences, if it is only one or two days you may handwrite a note and send it to their teacher, the teacher will then take it to the front office.
*If your student has 3+ unexcused absences you will receive and email from the principals!
Deliveries- Office does not accept any type of deliveries after 10:00 am. All deliveries must have student and teacher name.
Kona Ice Days- Please send exact change ($3, $4, $5, $6), office will not take money after 10:00 a.m.
Lunch- We ask that you please send lunch in the morning as you're dropping off your student(s). Lunch needs to be labeled with student & teacher name.
Out of Uniform- For all our "no uniform" days please make sure it is school appropriate clothing.
Arrival- Please help us by having your students ready to get off the car and opening the doors by themselves (unless younger children like pre-k and kinder). Please follow the drop off line as this speeds up the process and promotes safety.
Dismissal- Please do NOT be on your phone while waiting in the pick line as this is a safety concern. Please have a sheet with your student(s) name(s) on windshield for a quicker dismissal.
Picture Day: Please send exact change in the Lifetouch envelope on picture day. Office will not accept money after 9:00 a.m. You could also place your order online, as the day approaches we will send flyers with more info.
