Greetings Lemira Family:
Our mission is to motivate, inspire, and educate all students to be college and career ready. We live each day to embrace our theme to adequately prepare our students for this journey.
Shout Out
Thank you to Mr. Barney Gadson and the H.Y.P.E program for your extended invitation to perform on the program.
Congratulations to our students who had perfect attendance for Qtr. 1. We thank our parents, as well, for ensuring our students were Here, Everyday, Ready to Learn, and On Time (H.E.R.O). Our parents will be receiving a special postcard in the mail.
Announcements
1. Impact Aid Survey Forms: Thank you to parents who have returned the form. If you have not, please return as soon as possible, for our deadline is drawing near.
2. Red Ribbon Spirit Week: Oct. 25 - 29 - Please reference the flyer for our Spirit Week events
3. Character Parade: Oct. 28 - Students may dress as their favorite book character. Costumes must be school appropriate. No masks or toy weapons of any kind are allowed. Students are asked to bring their book with them, as well, to represent their character during our book parade.
4. Fall Festival: Oct. 28 - Students and parents are invited to our Fall Festival. The festival will be a "Drive Thru" event. Treats, photo booth, music, etc. will be some of our main attractions. Meal Combos will be sold. Meal tickets must be purchased in advance. Meal tickets will be issued by the teacher the morning of the event. (See flyer for additional details)
5. Title One Sumter School District Trunk or Treat: Oct. 29 - The SSD will host its Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 29th. Parents and students are asked to come out to 1345 Wilson Hall Road (District Office) for the event.

The Lemira Perucssion Ensemble performs for the H.Y.P.E. program at Trinity Church.
