Dear parent and caregivers,

I hope everyone took advantage of the extra-long weekend and managed to spend some quality time with family and friends. Even though this week was a short week, it was still very busy!

On Wednesday, the Year 5/6 students were joined by Mr Peter Higgins, former founding board member of St Elizabeth’s, to participate in the 2022 LifeLink Day Launch. Due to Covid restrictions the Launch was held online. For LifeLink Day 2022, Archbishop Timothy and Bishop Don have invited Archdiocesan primary schools to participate in a special project, one which encourages students to learn more about the wonderful work of our LifeLink agencies and engages their creative talents. At St Elizabeth’s we will be raising money for LifeLink by holding a Pyjama Day on Thursday June 30. Students will be invited to bring a gold coin donation on this day.

Mrs O’Malley organised a wonderful FIFO Dinner and Workshop on Thursday night which was well supported by members of our community. It was lovely to meet our FIFO families and I found it very interesting listening to the stories, successes and challenges, associated with being a FIFO family. Thank you to Mrs O’Malley for providing this event.

Well done to our fabulous Year 2 students for the great assembly today. It was so nice to see each and every one of them participate and shine throughout the whole assembly. Thank you to Mrs Watson and Ms Pearse for preparing the students so well!

Finally, I ask that you keep the Year 6 Confirmation Candidates in your thoughts and prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this weekend.

Have a lovely weekend!

God bless

Health and Wellbeing workshops

We value the health and wellbeing of our St Elizabeth's community. Recently, we run health workshops for our Year 5 girls and boys, who were able to invite a special adult to accompany them.

Our FIFO families enjoyed a wonderful dinner and workshop evening, with food, fames and friendship. If you know of FIFI families in the community, they may be interested to visit us to see the supportive environment on offer at St Elizabeth's.

Containers for Change

This year St. Elizabeth’s will be raising money through the Containers for Change initiative. Last year we raised over $100 that went to charity. This year we have moved away from collecting the recycling containers at school and have created an account directly with Containers for Change. If you have extra containers that you would like to donate, please use the barcode or QR code below when depositing your containers, this will help us to raise even more money for charity!

Thank you

Mr Rebeiro!
