Principal's Message
Sunny Heights Families,
March is here and spring is around the corner! Students and staff continue to work hard each day toward their academic, behavior, and social goals. Our 3rd graders will be completing the state IREAD-3 test next week. It is very important that students are in attendance each day next week, well rested, and ready to do their very best on the test! Students in all grade levels will be completing NWEA assessments for math and reading over the next few weeks. The NWEA assessments will provide us with data to help guide our instruction over the rest of this school year as well as provide some guidance as we look to next year.
I want to thank our families for helping students be at school each day prepared to learn. Students have continued to do a good job following health and safety procedures in school. It is important that we finish the year strong by wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and doing everything we can to keep ourselves and others healthy.
Thank you and have a great weekend!
Your Proud Principal,
Bart Lewis

ALL STUDENTS - ATTENDANCE
For the 2020-2021 school year, Warren Township has transitioned to a new student information system called Synergy allowing our parents and caregivers to have improved access to school information through the parent portal called ParentVUE. We are aware that at this time some students’ attendance records are reflecting students are absent, when in fact they were present. This is mostly the case for our students who are attending school VIRTUALLY on application days or in the VIRTUAL opinion full-time. We want to assure you that teachers are keeping accurate attendance records and that we are working to correct attendance records for all our students.
