Summer Library Hours
Is it too much of a hike to visit one of the Bucks County Libraries??
Why go so far when you can come to TITUS!!!
The Titus library will be open from 9 - 11am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings this summer for your child to come check out books!
While the library is open, there are also some very exciting reading activities available for students in each grade level! Check out our summer library calendars to see what's happening at Titus!
Sign-ups for summer reading activities will be in the Rotunda until the end of the school year, or until each activity is full. Please contact Miss Quaresima, Mrs. Wallace, or Miss Brennan for more information!!
In School this Week...
The Word Wall is a great writing tool in our classroom. I do not expect the students to memorize each word wall word, but they do need to be aware that the words are on the wall, so they can use them as a reference when writing in the classroom.
This week's word wall words are: dear, happy, outside, through, until
For the remainder of the year, our weekly word wall words will be included on our Friday spelling tests. The words will always be available on the wall; the children will need to locate them and spell them correctly. Please practice these words at home with your child.
This week’s spelling words are: bean, feet, soap, nose, mule, tube.
The challenge words are: glue, dream.
Please practice these words at home with your child. There will be a spelling test on Friday!!
In reading this week, we are reading stories about the zoo! We will be practicing visualization, making connections, and summarizing.
In math this week, we will begin unit 10. We will be reviewing telling time, counting and exchanging coins.
We are going to the zoo this week!! Ask your child about their trip. What animals were their favorites? After our zoo trip, we will continue our study of animals this week. We will continue to learn about reptiles and will begin learning about fish.
In the Computer Lab...
