The SoRoCo Weekly Newsletter
November 20, 2016
Dear Team,
'Tis the season to be thankful! We are so thankful for:
- Having the most polite and respectful students in any public school in Colorado.
- How much each of you cares about each one of our students.
- The relationships we’ve formed since the beginning of the school year.
- Your commitment to serve and give beyond expectations.
- Our families, who are partners in our educational endeavors.
- Your collaboration to make Soroco such a positive place to learn and work.
- And many more things.
Indeed, there is a lot to be thankful for. Let’s finish these next two days strong, then go enjoy a well-deserved vacation. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

A Message From the Athletic Director
We had a terrific end-of-year sports banquet this past Thursday to celebrate the conclusion of our high school fall sports season. Unfortunately, I was so pre-occupied during the event that I wasn't able to take any pictures for the Newsletter :(
Thank you again to the Booster Club for helping organize the banquet, and congrats one more time to all our student athletes for the awards you deserved after a successful season.
Winter athletes, I have all your physicals, which is good, but many of you are still missing the following paper work. If I'm talking to you, please get it in ASAP.
- Emergency Consent Form (if you played a fall sport, we already have this)
- CHSAA Sportsmanship Contract (if you played a fall sport, we already have this)
- $100 pay to play (checks can be made out to Soroco High School)
- Alcohol & Illegal Substance Policy
Thank you, and have a terrific season!
